Inspired by the sudden flash of orange as an Orange Tip butterfly passes by Orange Tip is a thoughtfully prepared fibre batt from the Butterfly Collection.

Sometimes you only catch a butterfly for a moment. A flicker of orange appears amongst the flowers, catches the light and then is gone, leaving you wondering if you really saw it at all. Orange and white are gathered together with hints of brown and dark grey, while tiny strands of orange-gold trilobal nylon add a gentle glimmer, capturing that fleeting flash of wings as the butterfly moves through the garden.

Orange Tip is suitable for hand spinning, wet felting, needle felting and many other fibre crafts.

Each batt is thoughtfully prepared by hand using the same carefully selected fibres. As they are blended individually, no two batts will be exactly alike, making every one a unique interpretation of the original inspiration.
